There is no one left to get things done. No one waiting to fill the world with something, so we must do it ourselves, in the best way that we know. We must give with as much purpose and love as there is within us. In this way we make our way, all of us together, and on our own. This is where we are.
Gnome life Records makes objects in the most meaningful way that we know… Ear fruit and eye seeds, present-moment planting… Songs and containers brought lovingly into the world, and delivered to you, so we may be united in the spirit of giving. Objects that pretty much say the same thing over and over again: that we are part of a generous world. And that to be patient, peaceful, and good…is good enough.
Since 2005 Gnome life has given birth to a small litter of limited-edition objects, by a few very nice-sounding-artists. We are really proud of these records, and spent a lot of time making them, so we hope you like them. We are always pregnant with thankfullness, and bursting with ambition, scheming and planning, ready to make new things. So please check in on us often to see what we have planned.

OUR NEWEST CREATION

This is a super limited re-press of Sean Smith's first (self-titled) LP... originally released in 2005 by another label, and out of print since 2006. This edition of only 46 copies comes on sturdy black vinyl with hand-painted labels (each unique), Sean's original signature, and three of his actual finger prints: right thumb, pointer and middle fingers (his picking fingers). Very limited, very nice to listen to.
