"Rivers" is two albums in 45 minutes. A tranportational light and shadow show recorded over a few days in Iceland in 2010 with a choir in a stone church (side A) and in a studio with a steel drum (side B).

"Rivers" is fundimentally organic even though it dwells in a supernatural place. In Iceland rocks piles and mists may hide old world beings on different vibrational planes (the Hidden People). This tape is full of those mists and stones, gateways to Hidden People and not-long forgotten, mythic planes.

Wildbirds & Peacedrums hail from an equally mythic/mystic nordic land, by Gnome Life standards they are the finest band in all of Sweden. They produce music of highest order by the simplest means, pairing voice with drums, presenting (for the most part) only our most primal and sacred instruments.

"Å" was chosen as the symbol for this album because it is a Swedish vowel which all alone means creek or river.
