Yurt is a recording/performing project of Fletcher Tucker (also of Bird By Snow). The 1st (and presently only) Yurt album is an improvised solo jew's harp album, consisting of 12 songs performed on 11 different jew's harps from vairous parts of the world.

"Our current age is one of re-union, the old ways are alive in we modern people. Our super-spiritual, pre-cynical, borderless self is constantly saying 'remember me?'. Yurt is a container I created to explore the infinite resonance. Words are forgotten in favor of seed sylables – rhythms, chants and riffs of a more direct nature." – F.T.
